Mr. Bernard Kok was admitted to practice as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in March 1992 and has been in active practice since then.

He heads the Corporate, Commercial and Conveyancing Department of our firm.

He was the Chairman of the Penang Bar Conveyancing Practice Sub-Committee for 2002 and 2003 and he is a member of the Bar Council Conveyancing Practice Committee from 2002 to 2012.

He chaired the Bar Council Solicitor’s Account Review Sub-Committee in reviewing and amending the Solicitors’ Account Rules 1990. He was also involved in the drafting of the proposed amendment to Section 340 of the National Land Code and the proposed regulations for general meetings of the Joint Management Body and Joint Management Committee under the Building and Common Property Act 2007.

He has been appointed as a legal adviser of several temples and Chinese Clans Associations.

Ms. Christina Siew holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and was called to the New Zealand Bar in June 1992 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in May 1993.

She heads the Dispute Resolution Department in our firm and has also represented the Penang State Government in litigation proceedings.

Mr. Goh Chek Kang holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Multimedia University and was called to the Malaysian Bar in May 2013.
